About Me

Hi, I’m Kathy—a parent, a trained coach, and someone who deeply believes in the power of being seen and supported.

I started Parent Lift after spending years as a stay-at-home mom while running a graphic design business. Those experiences showed me how organized and strong I can be as a parent but also the need for real, honest conversations with other parents—on the playground, over coffee, in the middle of messy moments. Again and again, I saw how many of us felt isolated, unsure, or overwhelmed… and how powerful it was just to be heard.

My background in the graphic design industry taught me that clear, empathetic communication can make or break a message—and I believe that’s just as true in parenting. Whether it’s how we speak to our kids, to our partners, or to ourselves, communication matters. And learning how to connect with more calm and clarity? That’s where the shift begins!

Since then, I’ve trained with the Jai Institute for Parenting, where I studied connection-based parenting, attachment science, nervous system regulation, and more. What surprised me most? The incredible shift I felt in my own parenting. Jai gave me insights I didn’t even know I was missing—and helped me reconnect with myself in ways that changed everything.

That’s why I’m here. Not to throw jargon at you or hand out advice from a pedestal, but to meet you right where you are—with empathy, curiosity, and real support. If you’re looking for someone who listens before leaping to solutions, I’d be honored to walk beside you.

You don’t need fixing. Just a little lift.
